GREEN HANGOUT IN LIVING WITH LOF

As we all know that living in Jakarta is not that easy and full of stress (ehm... curhat). Some of us maybe don't have much time (and maybe much money as well) to go on a further trip for refreshing mind. That's why this capital city has so much kind of hangout places for those who wants to relax and have quality time in a short time. In this post, I want to write about one different and unique place that caught my eyes.


It's a "secret indoor garden" located in Southern Jakarta that offers easy listening musics, tasty meals, fresh beverages and beautiful plants. Yes, it feels like back to nature kind and you can relax inside while enjoying the green leaves in every corner. This place, Living with L.O.F Plants & Kitchen, is perfect for me time or quality time with family and friends. L.O.F itself means Lots Of Flowers.


For the Kitchen, they have some promotion if you pay by GoPay or OVO. Anyway, don't expect the waiters will come to your table and serve the menu, but you have to order by yourself on the cashier and they will bring your order to your table (half self service).


Everytime I went to a coffee shop or restaurant, I usually choose the recommended one. Because it felt like hangout in nature, so I picked "Thai Beef Salad" and also "LOF Coffee" to accompany my "me time" here. Honestly, I'm not a fan of salad. I prefer fruits than vegetables. But this one is exception. I love the sambal and also the beef. Taste so good!! I was on diet but I didn't think that I was "torturing" myself to eat something like that. 


No doubt, I give 5/5 for this menu! For the milk coffee, taste medium. It was not too strong but it was not that creamy too. Not too sweet, it just tastes right. I give 4/5. 


Seeing those interesting plants in every corner, don't you think to own it all? Well, good news for you then. It's all for sale and you can bring it home! Start from IDR 50,000 to 6,000,000 depends on the type and size. They sell the accessories as well. If I'm not mistaken, I saw a promotion flyer if you pay with BCA credit card, you will get 10% off (for the plants only).

Overall, I love this beautiful place and happily recommend you to add this place as your hangout place list. I really love every corner in this place. I suggest you to come early in the morning to avoid crowdness. Well before you asked, it was all honest review and sure I'll be back here since I haven't explored this whole place (they also have outdoor and rooftop! stay tune, I'll update it soon here)

THE ANCIENT TOWN HOI AN

Vietnam terkenal dengan berbagai kota tua yang indah dan menawan, salah satunya adalah kota Hoi An yang terletak sekitar 30km dari kota Da Nang. Ada satu blok di jantung kota Hoi An yang sengaja di konservasi keasliannya dan di nyatakan menjadi salah satu UNESCO World Heritage yaitu Hoi An Ancient Town. Kota tua ini terkenal dengan suasananya di malam hari. Maka dari itu gue dan teman-teman stay di kota ini setengah hari dari sekitar jam 3 sore sampai jam 8 malam agar bisa mendapatkan suasana siang dan malam. DAY TIME Sebenarnya banyak sekali aktivitas yang bisa di lakukan di Hoi An Ancient Town mulai dari eksplor baik berjalan kaki, bersepeda maupun naik boat, belanja, ngopi-ngopi cantik, mendapatkan pakaian tailor-made dengan harga yang katanya "kaki lima" kualitas "bintang lima" hingga mengikuti kelas memasak. Tetapi karena keterbatas waktu, selama siang hari kami memutuskan hanya berkeliling-keliling santai, naik boat dan mencoba kopi-kopi khas Vietna...

HALAL FOOD IN VIETNAM?

Tantangan terbesar ke negara yang sedikit populasi Muslim adalah sulitnya mencari makanan yang halal atau yang tidak mengandung babi, salah satunya Vietnam. Menurut wikipedia, Muslim di Vietnam tidak lebih dari 0,1% total penduduk. Selama gue disana, turis Indonesia pun sedikit sekali dan bahkan hampir ga berpapasan dengan orang yang juga berbicara bahasa yang sama dengan kita.
